Title: Wicked Sunshine
Series: A Rush Enterprises Novel
Author: Justine Winter
Genre: NA Romantic Comedy
Release Date: October 30, 2015
Billionaire. Philanthropist. Manwhore.
Grayson Rush is a title sandwich that everyone’s trying to snack on, but when it comes to women he has rules that he’s been implementing for the past eight years of his twenty-seven year-old life.
1. Condoms are sacred.
2. Never hook up with an employee.
3. No double dipping.
He likes his women fresh and their names forgotten, thrown in the bin along with their dignity. He’ll profess to being a deity of sex, that his precious Excalibur is the source of all gratification. And the media will attest to that. Satisfaction is his specialty. Pleasure is his mission.
But like all great heroes of history’s legends, he claims a weakness resonates in his rickety, tattered heart. The premise of more is his Kryptonite. The word alone invokes an instant BD: Boner Destroyer.
Why is it, then, when smart-mouthed, twenty-three year-old Maya Kennedy comes waltzing in his office, pitching her creative designer services, that he’s suddenly eager to rebel against his own foundations?
When his wise younger sister, and best friend conspire against him, he realises that chasing Maya might be just what he needs despite his reservations on romance. Love is a bitch, and her name is Sabrina.
Stepping out of his cob-webbed past, he’s determined to keep the dust from tainting his future.
Can a womanizing Manwhore change his ways, or is Gentleman a title too unattainable?

Grayson Rush is a gorgeous billionaire, philanthropist, and a manwhore. His past has caused him to live by his rules. Miss Maya Kennedy makes him want to throw it all out the window. The day their business deal is over, cause of course one of the rules is to keep it out of the work place, Grayson makes his move. Maya knows how to play Grayson right and refuses to be another notch on his bedpost. The problem is Grayson's past that cause his rules has decided to pop back up.

While I expected this to be the same old billionaire get what he wants story and it definitely wasn't. It was very interestingly written and for me I had never read it done quite like this. While it was very raunchy and direct at points it really fit the personality of Grayson and his thinking. Justine did a great job as a woman writing the perspective of a playboy male. The humor, chemistry, and well written sexy scenes make for a great book that keeps you entertained from start to finish. I was pleasantly surprised when I read the back and there is going to be another book and I look forward to hearing more from Grayson and Maya!

“Is there anything you can’t succeed at, Grayson?”
My magic wand and I can think of something. Oh, what I’d give to put a spell in her.
“Do you want to know my secret?” I lean on the table, closing the gap between her lips and mine.
“Yes,” she whimpers, her warm breath dances on the surface of my lips.
“I never give up.”
She closes her eyes as she swallows hard. I sit up, reinforcing the distance between us. I want her badly, I want her now. But when I kiss her, I want us alone where only I get the pleasure of watching her. I’m not about to put on a show for all the businessmen in the room.
“Come on, let me take you home.” I stand, holding out my hand to help her.
“Have I bored you already?”
“Quite the opposite,” I say, opening the door to let her through. On the quiet porch I guide her gently against the wall, away from the tumbling rain as we wait for Logan. “I’m captivated by you, Maya, and I’m not entirely sure what that means. I want you badly,” I press up against her, letting her feel how true my statement is.
She moans in my ear, clearly excited at the prospect. I harden even more, painfully so, just as Logan pulls up in my limousine. “Where to, Maya?”

I’ve always lived a life based on my imagination, from hopeless dreams of romance to concocting alternate realities involving supernaturals. I’m completely fascinated with anything hero-related, and often speculate which superpower I’d possess. I haven’t settled on one yet. I was born in England, and currently reside in Wales, UK. I love to write, and most days you’ll find me happily tapping away at the computer whilst in my pyjama-clad bubble. I also spend my time reading, and if that isn’t enough I’m often in the kitchen baking up a treat.

As walls come down, their relationship starts to develop into more. Brooke now realizes everything she’s missing out on and wants—a happy and stable family for her and Mia.

Brooke had everything she wanted five years ago...until it fell apart and shattered. Now all she is left with is more money then she could imagine, panic attacks, no friends outside her family, and her daughter Mia. Brooke hid herself from the world until Chris moved in next door. Feeling things she had never felt before cause her to form a friendship with Chris. Spending time together, bonding of past experience, and knocking doors down. Can it work or is there such a thing as too much baggage.

I don't want to say I was surprised about how great this book is, but it definitely caught me off guard. I laughed, I cried, and I found myself smiling throughout this book. Two unpleasant pasts that end up bonding two amazing people to each other. The different topics that are discussed in this book are done in my opinion very tastefully and while there is a warning and I could see if you have personally experienced any of these it could be very difficult to read it is a great story of perseverance. Kelly Lincoln's writing makes you feel like you are living Brooke's story yourself. Wonderful, wonderful job! I look forward to reading more by Kelly Lincoln.

3.5 STARS

Chris and Brooke are two damaged individuals, avoiding love and relationships at all costs.  Little did they know that everything they thought they never wanted again, would be everything they would crave with each other. Chris needs a woman who will earn his trust and not break his heart. Brooke needs a man who can accept her and Mia, her daughter. He also needs to be capable of working his way up and over the walls that she has built around her because there is no way they are coming down completely... Or are they?

This is the first book I've read by Kelly Lincoln and I must admit, I really enjoyed it.  She did an amazing job at putting her characters feelings into words. I found myself wanting to cry with Brooke on a few different occasions. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends and I wouldn't be disappointed if there was a second book to see where their relationship goes

Chris: Is Mia okay?

Brooke: She’s fine, thanks. Back asleep already.

After replying, I debated asking him how he was doing. But before I could decide, my phone buzzed again.

Chris: It’s me.

I stared at my phone in confusion as the sound of a knock broke the silence in the room. Still holding my phone, I stood up.

Not sure what to expect from Chris when I opened the door, I walked into the kitchen and paused with my hand on the doorknob, hesitating for a minute. I hadn’t imagined what happened before. He’d almost kissed me. I didn’t know if he was coming back to talk about that or… his credit card. Of course. I had put it in my pocket as we walked in, forgetting to give it back to him.

I pulled the plastic out of my pocket and opened the door. Chris stood on my doorstep, his eyes restless as clutched his phone.

“Hey,” I said, holding up the credit card. “Did you come back for—”

I didn’t finish my question. As I spoke, Chris took two big steps inside. He cupped my face in his hands, still holding his phone. “No,” he muttered and crashed his lips against mine.

Holy shit. I stood frozen, gripping my phone in one hand and his credit card in the other. But then the reality of what was happening sunk in. Chris’s warm mouth was against mine, his tongue brushing against my closed lips, and I was standing still like a dumbass and not kissing him back.

Before my brain could tell my mouth to start working, he broke away.

“Brooke,” he whispered. His lips brushed against mine as he spoke, sending electric shocks throughout my body.

He backed up, hands still cradling my chin, his phone smashed against my face as his eyes locked with mine, waiting for my reaction. Not breaking eye contact, I placed my phone and his credit card on a small table next to the door. Reaching up, I pried his phone out from between his hand and my chin, and laid it on the table as well.

Then I sprang up on my tiptoes, grasped his shoulders for leverage, and pulled him back to me.
