Can Indie and Gunner heal each other from their pasts? Can Gunner convince Indie to take a chance on love?
4 STARS
I hadn't read anything written by either of these authors previously and was pleasantly surprised by this introduction. Indie Hughes is a sweet, beautiful girl that has been deceived and her heart is in shambles. She is looking for a fresh start without the complications that a new relationship would surely bring. Gunner Stokes is a gorgeous man that has had his fair share of relationship pitfalls and is not interested in repeating them any time soon. So, he is happy devoting his life to work and his family. That way of thinking has suited him just fine until Indie crashes into his life. Indie and Gunner have quite a few obstacles thrown into their path. It makes you wonder if they will be able to come out of them unscathed with their relationship intact. I really enjoyed the backstories of the characters and the way that the authors portrayed each of the main characters. The secondary characters were wonderful as well. I can’t wait to read the upcoming books for Gunner’s brothers; Wylie and Emmitt. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that enjoys reading this genre.
