Rain drops are plentiful, and there are thousands. They wash away the filth and carry it to a better place. So when you make a wish, wish on the water and let it carry your problems away.”

5 well earned stars, I loved this book! Elizabeth York has a way of pulling you in from the very first page with her writing. Candy lost her fiancé, a cop, and finds comfort in his best friend Jax. Candy has a break in at her house not long after her fiance’s funeral and when Jax comes to the rescue they end up together only Candy has a slip of the tongue that almost destroys any chance they have. Candy runs away from it all and moves across the country for a while to attempt straightening her life back out. This is an emotional read and once you start reading you can’t put it down. It’s fantastically written, flows well, and has an original plot that keeps you turning the page. Can’t wait to read more from this author.
Up and coming author Elizabeth York has been writing for about seven years. Located in the southeast, she spends her days drinking sweet tea on the porch with her laptop in hand. She has devoted her life to her family and her books. With the loss of her Father to cancer in 2010 she makes "Dear Daddy" dedication pages in each book and donates 10% royalties to cancer research. Take the time to get to know the characters and you will love them as much as she does.
