First thing I really like the concept of this series. All different authors with new characters, but characters from other stories stop by. What a great way to get to try out the writing style and meet new authors. This is the only book I have read in this series, but I look forward to going back and starting from the beginning. With that said you obviously don't need to read the others to enjoy this book. A story of love, loss, confusion, and finding a new way. I do wish there was just a little bit more at the end, but overall it was a great short story. Sometimes people are so lost and they don't want anyone's help, but really the only thing that gets them out of their funk ends up being when they are pushed by others. Jason and Dawn both struggled and have pasts they wish never happened, but together they have an undeniable connection and are more similar than either thought.
Hi! I'm Lisa. I live in SUNNY SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA with my wonderful husband and two teenage children. With two kids in high school and involved in activities both inside and outside of school, I have a lot to juggle. When home, I lock myself inside the office to write. I've always loved to write, but life always seemed to be too busy. When inspiration finally hit, I made the most of the time hubby and kids were busy and published my first book in February 2014. I've published a total of 4 books in the past year and am hoping to bring you a few more before 2015 ends.
