4 Stars

Adaley Knight had her life set. Growing up a preachers daughter on the road to being an Olympic gymnast had Adaley lived a very safe, focused life. That is until a devastating injury leaves her wanting to live her life and be reckless. Making a sudden change and switching colleges Adaley finds her self hours from home starring into the face of two hot boys. Ryle Benson is a baseball extraordinaire bad boy who keeps everyone at arms length. He has no desire for a relationship or getting to know any girls for that matter. That is until he lays eyes on Adaley. He will do anything he can to avoid her and make him hate her, but Adaley wants nothing more then the bad boy he is.

I am at a loss for words right now. I wasn't sure what to expect throughout the whole book. There are twist, turns, teenage silliness, bad decisions, and shocks from the start to the end. The struggles Adaley and Ryle both face are issues many can relate to. I love the instant attraction that they both try to fight. Each has their own individual reasons, but they both struggle with the life they have lived and are currently living and who they want to be. Adaley and Ryle are exactly what each other needs to help whether they want each other or not. Wonderfully written page turner that leaves your jaw hanging open. The secondary characters in the story add some great friendships and relationships.  I laughed, I cried, and if I had a paperback I would have thrown it across the room! I look forward to Tank's story and reading more from Nacole Stayton.

“Dare.” Ryle’s voice is cool, calm and collected as he mumbles his answer, like there isn’t another option.

“I dare you to—” Bradley’s interrupted by several females shouting in unison. “Take off your shirt!”

Ryle nods his head to the adorning crowd and grabs the rim of his shirt. Everyone with lady parts around the fire starts to drool. Me included. His movements are slow and sensual, and he doesn’t even bat an eye. Apparently removing an article of clothing in front of a crowd is a typical thing for him to do on a Saturday night. My needy eyes take notice to the “V” that waves hello to me as cloth is lifted from his body.

I melt.

Literally. My body fills like goo, and I wilt until nothing is left but a puddle of want and need.
“Ow ow.”

“Yumola!”
“Sexy beast.”

I feel like I need to wash my ears out. Rolling my eyes, I snatch Tank’s drink out of his hands and down it. Bottoms up.
