Miller Genuine Spurlock comes off as a laid back person but is really a dangerous man. A former Navy SEAL and current police officer and member of the SWAT team Miller could kill a man a hundred different ways and have the knowledge to get away with it. Just another day in the life of a SWAT officer Miller is called to the scene of what turns into a devastating situation where anyone's worst nightmare happens. It happens to the beautiful Mercy Shepard and everyone bears witness. Miller becomes the person Mercy leans on and the only one who she wants help from. 

First off let me start with the fact that I absolutely love love love the men of this SWAT team. Every time I read the next book I love it more then the last and that is hard to do! The fact that the whole Spurlock family is named after beer is so funny! While the ordeal that Mercy goes through is horrible the outcome and struggles she overcomes show what a strong individual Mercy is. I love when you have alpha males and the female counterpart is still a strong individual. Awesome writing, great chemistry, and hot scenes that keep you turning the pages as fast as possible! It is always so nice when we get to see the couples from the previous books and learn more about those who will be in future books! Lani Lynn Vale does not disappoint in Miller's story and I can not wait for the next book!
