People you love lie. People you love cheat. Everything I knew was a lie. My husband was a cheat. I lost all faith in men and relationships. I want nothing to do with either. Well except a night with Mason Brooks. Mason doesn't believe in love. Love between any two people whether it be a man and woman or a child and their relatives. Hurt and destroyed at a young age Mason only has loyalty from his close friends. Lacey Hunt makes him wonder if there is more.

Holy cow!! What an emotional roller coaster! Alexis Noelle does it once again. I can not get enough of her stories. This one though threw me for a loop. I didn't know she had it in her to make me love to hate her. Lacey and Mason have their individual struggles, yet each are perfect to help each other overcome their issues. Alexis Noelle keeps you on your toes from start to end. At some points I really did want to shake Lacey and beat her over the head I understood where she was coming from. Such a quick, fast paced story that keeps you flipping pages as fast as you can, yet wishing it could have lasted longer. Wonderful job as usual. I look forward to reading more by Alexis Noelle!

Alexis Noelle lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her husband, and three kids. On top a writing career, she is a full-time student and a full-time mom. She loves spending time with her kids, although she has to hide the computer from them when she is writing! She love being active and being outdoors, especially if it involves any kind of shopping.

She has always been passionate about writing. She loves to read romance books and feels like being able to lose yourself in a book is one of the more exciting aspects. The books she loves to read and write will be ones that make you feel for the characters. Ashley believes that you should have an opinion on every character in a book whether you love them, hate them, or think they are up to something.She also believes that the most important critic is your reader, so she loves to hear from the readers. She want her fans to be open & talk to her about what they want for the characters in the story, and what they would like to see happen.
