Title: Tye’s Undoing Author: Jennifer Field Release Date: May 1, 2015 Tour: May 4 – 15, 2015 Hosted by: SBB Promotions
Tyberius Frelser, Professor of Theology & Ancient Greek History and Harbinger of Death, has lived in Boston for the past three-hundred years, deciding to stay in his beloved city after the death of his wife, a tragedy that broke his heart. As a Harbinger, he is a tortured man, sentenced to a life he never asked for. As a professor, he is well renowned for his difficult curriculum and grading system. Upon flipping through student profiles, Tye comes across one he finds more than intriguing.
Margret Cole is a quiet, understated Grad student at Boston University, dreading the final class she needs to complete her doctorate in Ancient Religion. Since her mother’s untimely death when she was only twelve years old, she has suffered from nightmarish visions. Though the scene of her vision has always been the same, the battle between good and evil has become more clear over the years. And, at the center of this battle, are deep brown eyes and a handsome face that have haunted her for as long as she can remember.
Fascination and curiosity lead Tye and Margret on a path of exploration into not only her visions, but her bed, something neither have the desire to stop. But there is another player in this game, a powerful force with an agenda of their own.
Can Tye convince Margret that her visions are more special than she realizes before it’s too late, or will she ultimately become Tye’s Undoing?
Tye is a professor at Boston University and when he reviews his students portfolio's, he is drawn to one in particular, Margaret Cole. Margaret's blond hair and blue eyes captivate Tye like no other and her background only seals his interest in her. Margaret has a medical condition in which she hallucinates and what she hallucinates is what fascinated Tye the most. On Margaret's first day of class, she is overcome by one of her hallucinations. The hallucination depicts a seen where three rivers of fire meet. She sees a legion of demons being fought by a male and female winged demon, a red eyed demon, and an angel. When she recovers, Tye is concerned. Later that evening, he calls and checks on her and ends up at her apartment. Even though Tye knows no good can come of it, he makes love to Margaret and both fall head over heels. Slowly, Maggie, as Tye calls her, she believe Tye is the angel in the hallucination. The thought is strengthen when she sees Tye's angel wing tattoo. Maggie tells Tye of her hallucination and Tye realizes she is a seer and the hallucination is really a vision of a thousand year old prophecy. A prophecy that puts Maggie in danger. When Tye finds out who Maggie's doctor is, he realizes she is in more danger than he could have imagined. Especially when Maggie goes to her doctor's appointment and disappears from this realm.
Tye's Undoing is a prequel to Twice Lost. The reader learns who Tye is and what his Harbinger does. Tye and Maggie's relationship takes off full speed ahead which is a little disappointing. But when you are dealing with immortals and people less than human, it is what it is. You get a glimpse into Maggie's family life which isn't ideal. A situation which plays out in Twice Lost with Maggie being a minor character. Still, Tye's Undoing is a page turner and I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

Jennifer's debut full length novel Twice Lost - Book 1 in the Harbinger Series was released in September 2014 under the Forever Red Publishing label. She is currently working on four Novella length books within the Harbinger Series to be released in-between her full length novels just to keep the steaminess going. She currently lives in Western Massachusetts and has a love for adventure that makes her who she truly is. As an avid mountain climber & hiker it is not unusual for her to be hanging off of a 5.9 in the Adirondacks or the Shawangunk Mountain ranges. During the off season of climbing, also known as winter, she attends the New England Center for Circus Arts where she studied static trapeze (think Cirque rather than Circus). She an only child so has her mother to thank for her over active imagination and knack for storytelling. Over the years she's written several short stories of the "naughty" nature. But had never envisioned herself as a writer. Just someone who enjoyed telling a steamy story from time to time.
