Title: Love on a Spring Morning
Series: Pine Harbour #3
Author: Zoe York
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: June 2, 2015
Duplicity. Desire. Denial. They were doomed from the start.
Ryan Howard has zero interest in the movie being filmed in Pine Harbour or the high maintenance stars staying in the cottages at the end of his lane. He's just barely holding on to the raw remains of his life and the fantasy world being concocted around him is, as far as he's concerned, a complete waste of time and energy. The one bright light in his life is an intern on the set, Holly Cresinski, and their quiet conversations at the end of the day on his back porch.
Holly hates her life, too, which is entirely unfair because she’s blessed beyond measure. She’s at the top of her career--as film actress, Hope Creswell--and surrounded by people that mean well. But Ryan makes her laugh, and cry, and before she can find the words to explain her deception, he kisses her.
This is book #3 in the upcoming Pine Harbour series by NYT and USA Today bestselling author Zoe York.
Ryan Howard has had a round time. Although his wife lost her life in a police raid they had been having issues prior to her death. Knowing he is not ready to move on or really talk to anyone he is taken by surprise by his attraction to Holly Cresinski. While they both open up a bit to each other Holly is holding a big secret. She isn't an intern on the set of the movie being filmed. She is one of the main stars, Hope Creswell. Will this secret end them before they get a chance to begin?
Zoe York really knows how to write characters you can feel. The tormented, sad, closed off character portrayed by Ryan has so many emotions and changes throughout the book. The pure strength he uses to move on and move outside his comfort zone for help is empowering to those in similar situations. Zoe York makes you feel like you can understand and feel everything Ryan goes though. The push and pull between Ryan and Holly makes you keep flipping pages. Add in a couple kids, especially the sweet little Maya, and what more can you ask for. While this story doesn't have as much drama as the first two book it keeps you just as engaged and wanting more. I look forward to see how Zander and Faith meet and what their story entails!
