Title: Moto Boy & My Moto Boy
Series: X-Treme Boys #3 & #4
Author: Kay Manis
Genre: Sports Romance

Welcome back Dana Di Grazio. You fell in love with her in SKATER BOY. Now it’s time to tell her story.

Dana Di Grazio is fearless and feisty, but struggling to find her purpose in life. Hiding behind a hardened exterior, she’s erected walls to protect herself from the devastating losses of her past. When thrust into the role of caretaker for pro motocross rider, Peter Fontenot, her fortitude is threatened and she fears he might be the one man to finally break down her walls.

When an unexpected accident forces X Games champion, Peter Fontenot to rely on a foul-mouthed, Italian spitfire, he’s surprised to find himself drawn to someone so crass and ill-suited. Suddenly, Peter must rethink the expectations of his well-planned life. Dana is the one thing he doesn’t want, but she may be the only thing he can’t live without.

Can the spark between two opposites create a lasting fire? Or will it detonate an explosion that leaves them both alone...forever.

This is such a great series! This book is probably my favorite so far. I love Dana and her sassy attitude about life. She’s had a rough life so far and it’s caused her to have walls put up around her. Her and Peter meet when Peter approaches her and takes Hindley and Rory’s daughter from her arms (LOVE that we get to see more of Hindley and Rory in this book!) causing Dana to freak out. When they first meet Peter is really put off by her crass personality but that quickly changes. After an unfortunate chain of events Peter ends up rooming with Dana and their relationship grows from there.

I really enjoyed the build up to Peter and Dana’s relationship. They don’t fall into bed together immediately; they get to know each other pretty well first. Dana is hilarious and I spent much of this book laughing my a** off. As always with Kay Manis’s characters they are well developed and relatable. I really hope that we get Leif’s story eventually! Can’t wait to read more from this series!

** Sometimes caring for others helps you find yourself **

Dana Di Grazio has overcome emotional and physical pain all her life. But when the man she’s finally given her heart to walks out of her life after learning all her secrets, she’s left feeling abandoned and alone, unworthy of love.

Professional motocross rider Peter Fontenot is faced with a choice – stay with the one woman who’s captured his heart, or fulfill obligations from his past. When Dana’s life is threatened in unimaginable ways, will Peter be able to reconcile his former self in time to save her? Can he show Dana that her life does have a purpose? Or will his declaration of love be too late?

Find out in this dramatic conclusion to Moto Boy, book 3 in the X-Treme Boys Series.

NOTE: MY MOTO BOY is not a standalone book. It is the conclusion to Dana and Peter’s story (MOTO BOY, Book 3 in the X-Treme Boys Series). This book contains adult material and is not suitable for readers under 18.

Peter and Dana’s conclusion picks up right were we left off in book 3 – and this one is definitely an emotional roller coaster. Dana is a wreck after she believes that Peter has left her because she can’t have children, on top of that she’s having a health scare that she doesn’t want to share with her friends because she doesn’t want them to worry. Peter quickly realizes what a mistake he made leaving Dana the way he did and heads back to her to try to repair their relationship. On top of that they both have their parents companies to deal with and with Peter’s “ex-wife” showing up the drama is endless!

I really enjoyed the ups and downs of this read, I laughed, I cried, I even yelled at my kindle a few times. We get to see more of Dana’s relationship with her brother Sam and more of Peter’s history with his family. This is a fantastic series and I highly recommend it! Can’t wait to read more from Kay Manis.
