Jason Avery is one of the best at his job. This is why he was asked to come to Vegas to help undercover why a number of women have been showing up dead. After a few weeks of dead ends Aylee McFadden knocks on his door after he mistakes her for a working girl. Miss McFadden is an FBI agent who has been brought in to help Jason get to the bottom of the murders. In the end Aylee joining Jason gets him the access he needed to make progress. The problem they can't stand each other. Will these two be able to put their difference and attraction to the side and solve the murders or will Aylee end up the next on the list?
One of my favorite types of books is a bad ass alpha male that knows how to use a gun. Throw in some tattoos and there isn't much else better. L.P. Dover doesn't disappoint when it comes to Jason Avery. I was so glad that Aylee is a strong, independent woman who can take care of herself. You can feel the chemistry between these two from the moment they meet. I loved that Aylee duped Jason more then once throughout the story. Great story line that is action packed. Between the sex, drama, and mystery you will not be able to stop turning the pages. I look forward to more in the Armed & Dangerous series.
